We cannot give slab pricing because we are a wholesale distributor and we only sell slabs to approved slab fabricators. There are many factors that influence the pricing of your countertop such as material square foot price, slab size, pattern, material workability, layout, and more. This is where fabricators come in to play. Because they will measure your space, template, fabricate, and install the material, they will provide you with the most accurate bid.
Quartzite is a very hard metamorphic rock that originated as sandstone. Through a process of high heating and pressurization sandstone is transformed into Quartzite, an extremely strong and durable natural stone. Granite is an igneous rock, meaning it was formed underground in volcanic lava flows. It is the second hardest substance known next to diamonds. Quartz Stone (also called engineered stone) is a man-made stone comprised of 93% natural quartz. It is extremely hard, dense and non-porous. All three are good choices for kitchen or bathroom countertops.
Stainless steel is 100% non-porous and does not transmit bacteria. Composite sinks (also called granite or quartz) are food safe, odor free, stain resistant and heat resistant to 500 degrees. It really boils down to personal preference, and what is most conducive to your kitchen style.
It’s all a matter of taste. Simple designs are just as aesthetically pleasing as the more elaborately detailed kitchens. Functional use by family members, maintenance of the kitchen and budget are key considerations when planning the design.
Consider a thicker, plusher carpet cushion for a luxurious feel in bedrooms, dens and living rooms, where comfort is a priority. Higher weight or higher density products will help your carpet look newer longer. And, many carpet cushions are available that combine the best of both worlds – durability and ultra-plush comfort.
You may save on your initial carpet cushion purchase, but you’ll pay for it in the end by shortening the life of your carpet. Plus, you may be giving up some of the benefits that keep your investment looking and feeling good.
Yes. Here in Arizona, we are able to use all types of tile outdoors. Unglazed or textured porcelain is very durable, but can get very hot. Saltillo tile has been used here for decades, as has travertine and Cantera.
Porcelain is the best choice for flooring. At Monterrey Tile, we carry mostly porcelain tile flooring options because the price differential is minimal but the durability of porcelain is substantially better than ceramic. We do, however carry a large assortment of ceramic wall tile.
Ceramic and porcelain tile is a very durable flooring product when installed correctly. What will most likely happen is the item you drop, a plate or glass, will break while the tile may just suffer a chip or crack.
