Quartz is a man-made slab containing ground quartz and resins to make a granite-hard slab that mimics natural stone.

Quartz is water-, stain- and scratch- resistant, which makes it the perfect material for countertops. It is heat resistant up to 400° which makes it a good material for fireplace surrounds. It is non-porous, making it a good material for shower walls.

Quartz is not suitable for outdoor installations.
